Gimbal set up and only points down??

I set my gimbal today and once powered on it only points downward. I tried going into the phantom assistant software and turned on the gimbal control tilt switch think that this might help to bring it to level but made no change. Any ideas??

i know it might sound stupid but did you move the gimble lever on back of tx?

yea I tried that after I had turned this on.
