Gimbal Saver. Do i need it?

Hey all

I got this gimbal saver availablr at home. I didnt apply it to my new p3a.
Should i? I don't really see what does it do special that regular backside of canera can't do?

It's supposed to prevent the gimbal from separating on impact -- which often leads to the gimbal ribbon cable ripping.

Infact, no, it's useless, so please send it to me, to dispose of properly, in the waste management facilities, closest to my drone. ;-)
