It might be a small thing, but the gimbal lock looks to be well thought out, and a vast improvement, over the P3 gimbal lock.
Those overpriced 3rd party gimbal locks may not be needed with the P4.
It also looks like, when it is removed from the camera, it can then be re-attached slightly behind the camera, to provide some protection during flight.
