gimbal lock

Hi powered up phantom 3 to do some camera setting changes forgot to take gimbal lock off. Removed while it was in start up mode hope gimbal not damaged flew after seems to work?

It should be fine. Many people have done this without damaging the gimbal.

I glued a 6 inch long red ribbon on my gimbal lock. Very easy to notice as a reminder.

After a few times I added this.

Gimbal has over load protection and issues messages if obstructed and current drawn by the motors reach the limit. If you keep it on for long in obstructed state with no cooling ( props not spinning) then there are chances of motors getting burned due to overheating.
