I have looked everywhere for this answer, every vid and owners manual, which I've read twice.
As a newbie, I'm sure like a lot of us, I spent an entire weekend configuring and learning the DJ I go app, with the p4 live. I had my machine on live in my workshop several times.

Does it hurt at all to keep the gimbal guard (Standard DJI Edition) on when just Having it powered up, but not flying?(no props)

Thanks

I would remove the gimbal guard because the gimbal might do some auto pre-testing and needs to move freely.
You just need to be careful not to bang the gimbal around :) and place it back when finished.

Absolutely remove the guard! ANTONIO is correct. The gimbal will go thru its own calibration and this requires movement. I'm afraid any restriction could possibly cause damage to gimbal controls.
