Gimbal / Camera savers? Do they work?

The camera up down has a screws against the shaft. Not the case with roll. There are plenty video on YouTube that thakes the entire camera unit apart. Study that if you like.

I will stand by what i said: the gimbal saver helps. Feel free to do without one. I didn't for my P2 V+.

So do you agree it is not just held in place with magnetic force but also with a press fit between the shaft and motor housing?

Whatever... take a look at the depth of that hole. Call it whatever you like. If you think that is what is holding it in and is sufficient than good for you. Only trying to help, but i will be sure not to answer cany of your questions going forward.
