Hi pilots,
I don't know if I'm going to sound silly or I'm totally wrong,
But I've had my P3S out for a spin earlier today,
Weather was great just a really slight breeze,
And when looking on my phone screen,
The footage from the camera seemed to be slanted to the right and not level at all,
I hovered in front of me and it looked to be level somewhat,
It's done this a few times and I'm not sure why,
Could the slight windy breeze cause it to not be level ?
Any input is greatly appreciated as I can't enjoy the footage I am getting due to this.
Thank you guys in advance
Liam

There are a few of these threads already. It seems some, including myself, are dealing with this issue.

You haven't said whether or not you attempted to do a gimbal calibration on the ground. You can see if it's level that way first, and make some adjustments there.

I have calibrated it on the ground yes and it seems to look ok,
It's just in flight that it doesn't look correct,
Happens all of the time
What is the best ratio for pictures,
I have been using 16:9,
Or is it personal preference ?
Thanks

When you check the gimbal, have the Phantom on a level surface, then place a straight object (I use a level) out in front a couple feet.
Go into your camera settings, and turn on the grid lines.
This will give you something to gauge against the level that's in front of the camera.

Aspect ratio of your pictures is a personal preference, if you're viewing them on wide screen device, then16:9 is probably best.

I have set the phantom on my desk and it looks perfectly level from the phone screen and to look at the camera gimbal itself is perfect
It's just when I'm hovering and panning slowly to capture footage that I notice it's not straight
I don't know how this can be
