getting a P2A in a few months

I'll be getting a p3a in a few months time after my winter break with my v1.1.1.
yesterday my mate came down with his p3p and what surprised me was that every time he moved forwards/backwards/sideways it really was a vicious jerk to start , even in poi when he changed direction it also jerked away before settling down, is this normal with the p3s or is it possible to lower the exponential ?
also I know you can alter the exposure with the wheel (top right) but his pictures were much too green is it possible to alter the hue/colour?

Expo adjustment is accessed in Phantom 3 App settings.

Expo is something else - it reduces sensitivity of the sticks close to the centre to make finer control easier.
Adjusting the dynamic braking is what will smooth the ride.
