Garmin edge gps on Phantom ?

Hi
I have on my road bike a Garmin edge computer . It is very small and light and would fit to quads landing gear leg. This has gps and measure route ,distance and speed etc. I have wondered about connecting it to my P2 to get this info from a flight .
Question is would the GPS signals "mess" up because there is 2 signals in proximity ?

GPS receives and doesn't transmit anything so personally I'd say it'd be fine and sounds like a good idea to me and shouldn't impact too much on the flight of its light.
