Futaba 6 or 8 (or Something Else)?

Hey guys!
I'm planning to add a Gimbal setup to my Phantom and wanted to get a more capable radio to be able to control the camera. I landed at the Futaba 6 and 8 and wanted to know which you guys were using and why? If you're using something other than the Futaba, what are you using and why?

Also... Does the Futaba 6 or 8 have the same type of sticks as the DJI Tx where they go back to center when you release them or are they geared?

No off the shelf transmitter has a centering stick on the throttle, however it's really easy to modify them to make them do this. There are instructions kicking around on the web for Futaba, Spektrum FrSky etc and it only takes a couple of minutes.

I'm a big fan of the FrSky Taranis. It's cheaper than Futaba and gets you 16 channels and amazing configurability.
