For those who are using (or thinking about using) a FrSky telemetry system with the "Smart Port" protocol, the long-anticipated compatible GPS module is now available: http://www.alofthobbies.com/frsky-sp-gps.html

I'd seen some teaser shots of it in recent weeks so I suspected it would be dropping soon, but it just came in stock today it looks like. It may be of limited use to anyone with a Phantom and an OSD, and I don't believe FrSky's gear can be added to a P2 Vision, but for those who have an X8R with their Taranis or XJT/DJT, it adds several channels of data including real-time lat/long display.

I have one on the way now, and even though it's intended for my 550 I'll still give it a test run on my Phantom and post results for anyone interested.
