I'm looking into the Fat Shark predator...

Two questions WRT FPV:

1. I have heard you need a HAM radio license to operate one. True? Do you all have HAM licenses?

2. Some have advised me that the FPV transmitter might interfere with the controller radio and lead to flyaways. Anyone have issues like this?

I have a Phantom 1.1.1 with a Fat Shark Predator V2 on it and have had no fly away issues with it! Though it does seem has if my receiver will mess with reception the further away I get unless its just a loss connection because as soon as I stop to a hover picture comes back clear but I seem to get good distance to but my Phantom will and should go further in signal then my Fat Sharks since the Phantom has a 2.4Ghz and the Fat Shark Transmitter is a 5.8Ghz which shouldn't interfere with the 2.4 receiver but I think the receiver can give interference to the 5.8Ghz but they have channels to switch to in case you get interference which I haven't tried! You Should be good using one as far as I know they work fine for me..
