FPV range with FPVLR stage 2

I installed fpvlr stage 2 on my p2v and took it for some field test. I got to around 1800ft and then i lost fpv. I haven't tried to test the range of the control signal yet (without fpv I didn't want to venture further) can someone tell me if this is the range u usually get for fpv with fpvlr stage 2? I am not using any booster.

I just went 2 miles today with all FPVLR antennas , my personal best. Mine is P2 non vision so we might be comparing apples to oranges...

Hi go fast, is that control range 2 miles or fpv? Wht do u mean all fpvlr antennas? Is tht stage 4?

Control range of the quad 2 miles before RTH kicked in with solid FPV signal the whole way . Not sure what the stage 4 is I have the 5.8 ghz premium kit for the FPV side & 2.4 ghz helical (long range kit) for the remote . FPVLR.com
