Hi, I'm Jason from the Philippines,
I'm a newbie to this forum and to the drone/quadcopter community ^_^
Just want to hear your thoughts/tips/suggestion.
Since I have a plan for upgrading my phantom (dji phantom fc40) to an FPV system However, I'm quite bit confused on the frequency what to use (5.8GHz or 2.4GHz). As per checking on the website of DJI my phantom fc40 uses a 5.8GHz (transmitter/receiver).
Is there any way that I can manually look at my phantom and controller on what frequency it uses? Just to be sure :)

Please see the screenshot below of my phantom :)

Welcome to the forum Jason.

Post pics of the bottom of your controller. It says there what frequency it is on.

Yep, you can do the FPV thing to your 40. Control frequency should be 5.8, FPV needs to be something other than 5.8.
There is a google search link in my signature, follow the instructions.

Look around and you will find many discussions on the subject. You should get a good idea what you want from what others have done.

Enjoy the show.
