FPV not working in GoPro picture mode

When I set my GoPro to snap a picture every five seconds I do not get a live video stream to my goggles or my 7 inch monitor. However, I do get the information from the iOSD against a black background. Has anyone else experienced that? Is there a way to shot pics with the GoPro while using fpv?

As soon as I switch it back to video mode it begins to work again.

You might try some lower resolution settings in camera mode. Should be able to get FPV. I know that some settings of video and photo combination mode don't allow FPV.

Change your timelapse interval to 5 seconds or higher. The screen will blank for about 1/2 second when it takes a picture. I'm getting you have the interval set to 0.5s
