I have the Lumenier 8" monitor and I want to attach it to my Stock Dji transmitter. Just using it mounted to a photo light stand at the moment and its not cutting it. Can't seem to find a nice somewhat affordable mounting option. Can anyone help me with this?

Many thanks, I'll check it out.

I also see this one coming up from the Lumenier site that wasn't there until recently. Just don't know how sturdy this would mount to the neck strap hook over time. My monitor with hood, 5.8G videolink receiver, lipo battery and wires make it on the heavy side.

I took a GoPro sticky mount + GoPro tripod adapter and mounted my FlySight to it.
Provided your screen has a tripod mount on the bottom.
I'll take a pic. Holds great.

^^^^Yes to above, interested to see that pic.

The monitor can be removed whenever I like thanks to the clip.
The only thing I regret is that it has the "curved" GoPro sticky mount, because I stuck the flat one to my car windshield.
Not willing to shell out $25 for more GoPro sticky mounts right now.
Oh and the tripod adapter is actually AEE (GoPro's competition) but they are almost the same.

That is the same one I just bought.

I must say I am not very pleased with it. I found it difficult to get the monitor adjusted so I had room to move the sticks. The monitor pivot arm would come loose if I tried to adjust the angle of the monitor.

Did you have these issues or did it work out for you.

Tom

I have one of those too and it sucks. That's why I had to come up with a solution fast and not have to order more stuff, luckily had the gopro stuff lying around.

The thing has worked great for me, none of the issues you mention. The transmitter also fits in my case with it on which is another thing I like about it, I have one of the Goprofessional cases where the transmitter goes in sideways.

You could be right . i fly like this for a year now and never had a signal problem what so ever. But on the other hand i never did or try cross a 700 meters range .

So for cheap solution its great.
It cost 1-2$ to make

All so you can fly with out the sun shader
So it will be better

I my self looking for a new solution
But i cant find what i am looking for.

I recently bought a case.
And i don't want to take the monitor apart every time.
I am looking for a quick release mount .
Any suggestion ?

I see the gopro mount but i am not sure what type of mount is connected
To that gopro mount in order to hook up to monitor.
