So I ordered a 7" Blackpearl RC801 Kit, and since the Monitor has AV out, I was wondering if it was necessary to get Goggles with a receiver, or just get goggles with AV in and stream it from the Blackpearl. Obviously, the disadvantage is needing to carry the monitor everytime I want to use the goggles but that isn't that big of a deal.

Any recommendations on a set of not OVER the top goggles?

I have a Black Pearl Diversity monitor and Fatshark BASE goggles (no receiver). The goggles plug directly into the side of the monitor for both AV signal and power. All necessary plugs and cables are included. Very slick offering. The standard battery built into my monitor have been able to power the monitor and the goggles for at least an hour. I've not flown longer than an hour at a time, so I don't really know how long the batter lasts - but it's at least an hour.
