FPV Freezing, Blocky, Green at only 20 ft away

Hi all,

I've searched the forums for a solution and can't seem to find much.

My P2V+ is having the frozen FPV issue. The first few flights it worked great I was able to get FPV to about 1000 feet away. Now however, in the same locations, the copter gets about 20 feet in the air and FPV freezes, turns green, gets blocky and choppy. Sometimes if I rebind it works better. Last night I tried to rename the SSID as prescribed in another topic, and that helped me get at least the 320 mode to work... sort of.

I've tried all the recommended solutions shy of going back to the old Android software.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
Has anyone found a solution?

I'm using a Galaxy Note 2 as my FPV device.

Yeah, I was experiencing too and usually lower preview resolution works, I also remember someone was suggesting to go on older app version, but I didnt find that thread because searching on this forum is not so good.

Are you is using the 1.0.40 version? Try an earlier version. I had the same issue with 1.0.40 and went back to 1.0.39 and it is working fine. If that doesn't work, try 1.0.38, etc. Here is a link to get them:

Yep same issue here on android 1.0.40. How do we get version 1.0.39?

Yes, but will the P2V+ work with the older Android software? I'll have to test I guess. If anyone has tested this please post.

The SSID renaming only seems to help somewhat if at all. I'm thinking it actually doesn't do anything.
