What flying tips and techniques do you guys use when flying FPV?

Do you fly in camera mode or video mode? Etc.

Radar and maps are quite useful in case you loose sight of the aircraft. It happens, don't panic, learn to use radar and maps to get your craft back.

Hey NoBiff, just a quick one from my experience. You didn't mention what type bird you have, but if you have telemetry available on the monitor, watch that voltage! I lost my first P1.1.1 over two years ago when I was first starting FPV. I was so enthralled by what I was seeing on the monitor, that I flew too far out to get back on the battery that was left. Two weeks of searching by as many as six people and still no cigar. It's out there somewhere, but never recovered. With about $600 in the bird and $400 in the FPV gear, it was a hard lesson to learn, but it was learned well.
