I've been participating actively in Phantom Pilots through my personal account, however a couple days ago i registered the account "FPVDaily" to present you our (because there's more than one person involved) newest development: FPV Daily
FPV Daily is an online collaborative First Persion View atlas to share our passion about photography and uav’s where users can share the pictures they take with their uav's around the world. All pictures published in FPV Daily are geolocated and enriched with the metadata suplied by the pilot. This metadata is also used to power our search engine. Each photo can be rated, commented and shared through our community or to the main social networks (facebook, twitter, pinterest).
I know there are a lot of other sites where users share their photos, however we are using a very complex theme wich allows us not just to geolocate the photos, but also to embed metadata such as categories, uav brand/model, camera, location, altitude, etc. and enable custom queries to filter via ajax (no need to refresh the page) the results. We are also using Google Places API to enable searches based on location and in your local language.
The site is fully functional as i type this message, but we only have about 15 photos to showcase, thats why im looking forward to having you visit FPV Daily, register in the site, share your FPV photo and help us build this FPV Atlas. We have a Facebook app which allows you to register with two clicks (we will never publish anything to your Facebook wall) and once registered you may start submitting photos in three minutes.
Each registered user has a control panel where they can manage their photos and have stats about the views per images.
We would also love to hear your feedback, comments and suggestions, any help is greatly appreciated.
