Hi,

Recently I was flying around a large local park. There was no one around so I figured I'd practice my flying by hooning it around close to the ground. I recorded the flight and then remembered that FPV mode was supposed to stop the camera correcting for roll and therefore give the impression of sitting on the nose of the aircraft. I changed he settings in the DJI GO app and recorded some more footage but the gimbal still compensated for the roll and the sensation of speed I was looking for was lost.

Has anyone else had this issue or have I completely missed the point in the FPV mode.

Cheers,

Yes, FPV mode is supposed to remove the stabilization from the camera. Thought it worked instantly, but perhaps you need to change the setting and then restart everything?

Has anyone else tried this and found that it worked/didn't?

I've tried it again after the latest firmware update and it still does nothing. I can tilt the camera up 30 degrees now and smooth the gimbal motion out but can't get it to lock into FPV mode at all.
