Focusing square?

Hi All.

Since updating my firmware my focusing square when taking still pictures seems to be locked to the centre position, when i tap on my tablet to move the square from the centre position it shall move to where i tap and flash green then before i manage to take the shot the focusing square moves back to the central position.

Anyone know how to solve this problem as a lot of my shots are taken focusing on objects outwith the centre of the frame.

Short answer is turn off the continuous focus. I can't access the menu right now to demo it for you, but I believe it is in the camera settings.
