Flytrex question

Yep, that seems pretty accurate. The cool thing with flytrex core 2 is you get a tiny unit that plugs into the gps and it records all the data with or without a sd card. Then you can download or not, make public or not, incorporate into video with gopro or other video files. I am impressed with the dashware that uses the data from both to incorporate guages for any application whether you do cars, planes, bikes, hiking, ect. :D

Here's a photo showing how I soldered the Live Power/ground wires on my P2V+.

This is sort of off-topic, but has anyone found a way to extract other data, like volts, from the dji .... all that data is in some memory somewhere running on some sort of processor. Which leads me to wonder what processor is being used in the DJI P2V? Is it a standard pixhawk or similar flight controller? Since flytrex can capture and store GPS data off some DJI data bus I'm sure there's more stuff we could also get our hands on, provided someone writes the code !

Gents, it's done:
Try this as alternative Programm to analyse flytrex datafiles offline: http://www.logview.info
Brilliant logging and analyzing Software also for other devices like chargers etc.
Even when you don't see at first, the flytrex is implemented.
Enjoy

Downloading :)

Thanks. I've been waiting for that program.
I just tried it out and it generates a much more useful KML file.

I'll add a suggestion for the next version.
Can you add time stamps to the KML file which would allow playback in google earth?
https://developers.google.com/kml/documentation/time

Great Work.

In what way CAHUTCH?

I am messing with it. I really did not see any improvements in the KML but that would not be my main usage.

The program is pretty cumbersome for just flytrex conversions and I am guessing not what the bulk of Flytrex users would want.

But interested in anything cool you find with it.

Google is your friend...

I used to use Google at home but I no longer need to...my wife knows everything!

OK I see that now but the speed and elevation change is so hard to see on the actual Path. Maybe I need to try another mission.

Hello,
I'm trying to use this application to decode my fpv file, unfortunately peak altitude number is different to the Flytrex website csv exporter.
Also sampling is different to the flytrex website csv exporter.

Do you have any idea why they are different?
Also could you please share the fpv file format?

Regards,
Mohini

Anyone else try this decoder?

Seems promising.

Could someone attach a raw Flytex core two file so I could see the format and contents?

Thank you very much

There is a thread somewhere on here with a link to a program that decodes the files on your computer. Have you seen that ?
