Flytrex installation

I believe it works with all phantoms,
Super easy install
( go to flytrex.com ) they have a nice tutorial video )
It requires you to OPEN the phantom up, Unhook
GPS cable from main circuit board, plug in NEW
cable ( you buy seperatly from flytrex ) 1 wire with
( 3 ) ends on it, 1st end into GPS plug on main circuit board
( the one you just unhooked GPS from ) 2nd end you replug GPS
Into this new slot ) the GPS plug you unhooked above,
And the 3rd and final end , plugs into flytrex core 2!
I velcro'ed mine to phantom belly, required me to ( disassemble flytrex plug end )
To allow wire to pass through landing gear ) then reassembled plug back together!
Some people mount it inside, or cut a hole for the wire to pass through, ect.

Yes it works on the FC40 I have one on mine. and like the above poster said its supper easy to install tho you do have to open the shell. Just be sure to order a phantom cable with it.

It doesn't give live telemetry does it .. Just records that info for later viewing ..
