Has anyone taken thier GPS centric (PV, PV2, PV2+) to brazil? Curious if it is able to fly there. There is the question of the legal perspective, and there is the "does GPS work there" perspective. Appreciate any feedback: long way to take it if it wont fly or if it is illegal to fly, but i can envision some beautiful photo opps there!!

Check with local flyers.

It has been reported that mush-mouth Portuguese can melt the motor screws.

Be safe and don't fly if there is any odd behavior from you Phantom.

Think about the children!!

Yeah, I would ask around with local pilots (there's bound to be at least some out there).

Brazil looks like an excellent place for aerials.

On a lighter note, please try not to crash it into the Christ the Redeemer.

Yes, it does work as it should. I can have signal of up to 12 sattelites at Curitiba.

I envy you, how I wish I had my P2V on my numerous trips through Europe, Russia, Mid-East and South America including a few to Brazil back in 1999-2001. Have fun and please post some videos!
