I am going to be working on a video project of my hometown, Pittsburgh. We have a bunch of amazing bridges that I'd love to fly near. My only concern is all of the metal screwing up the compass. Would it be a really bad idea to get within like 20 feet of a bridge like this?

Use a real compass (dont use a phone compass app) and walk the phantom 3 along the bridge. See if you get any severe influences.

I found out about a app called Sensorkinetics that has a Magnetometer in it that will measure Magnetic fluctuation where you are. I got it and it seems to work well.
