Flying gridded flightlines

I'm looking for an app which will let me fly gridded flight lines and take pictures every second or so using my P3S. I've found a few apps like pix4d for the pro/advanced versions, but the only apps I've found for the P3S are designed to fly a few simple waypoints. I've also found an app on iOS (Map Pilot for DJI), which might do it, but I've only got android devices. Surely there must be something out there?

Is there a way to load sophisticated grids into Lichi?

Map Pilot is awesome and does exactly what you're asking for. That's the only "Grid" application I have any experience with but good luck

It could be done - but I would think it would take quite a while to input. Each second would have to be a waypoint, I would think.
