I tried with a footage here:
Any comments on how to do it better?
Did you fly them both at the same time alone?
Yes, I did it alone!
Flying two is cool... but it probably doubles your chances for pilot error. yikes!
nice footage - looks like you got pretty close to some Phantom-eaters at the 2:00 min mark
I think it would be cool when the mission planning software comes out to run them both on a similar mission path at the same time. Maybe set them 10' apart for some margin of error an try to plan it so one is capturing the other just behind it and up higher.. just a thought.
If you want to get really risque', you could bind both to a single controller. Set them about 10' apart, allow them to get lock, and then fly them (carefully) in unison. You'd have to stay aware as they probably will respond slightly differently to the controls, and you'd be controlling both at once if they got out of sync. If that happens, just trigger an RTH and they will come home and land.
Would love to try two off the same controller if I could afford to crash them both.
Here's my shot at flying two at once.
Flying two at the same time eh?
