Has anyone here used Fluid Film or Corrosion X to protect their metal etc on their P3?
I saw a post where someone that lived near the beach had some rust on their prop motors and gimbal motors.

Upon researching I see that both products do not conduct electricity and are often used on RC cars and boats.
I even have seen posts about the P1 and P2 but since the design is different I figured I would ask here.

Obviously the outside of the motors and outside of the gimbal are for sure ok...
However thinking further I realize that if the outside is going to get corroded by salt air then the inside would to as well. That means in side the gimbal motors, inside the prop motors, and even inside on the metal innards of the bird.

Anyone here ever done such a thing?
Before you ask yes I will be flying by the beach on the Atlantic. My parents have a house a block over from the beach and they have a deck on their roof I have taken off from several times. Its a very nice setup :)

So a couple random thoughts and questions:

When I researched this about the P2 etc the one thing that was posted about was making sure the barometer was not affected. Where is the barometer in the P3? Has anyone done this?

Are inside the prop motors ok to be sprayed? Fluid Film and CorrosionX is also a lubricant which again does not conduct.

Where is the barometer in the P3? Are there any other sensors that might be affected by some lubricant?

Attached are P3 rust pics that I found on Facebook.

Yes, I use Corrosion X on my P3 and Splash Drone Pro. I fly all the time at the beach in San Diego CA. I have developed rust in the areas u have noted. I use it and it desolved the rust. I bought it off Amazon. It's not cheap, but worth it. Good luck!

Hello, sorry for being late :D
DeeX did you solve the problem?
I have the same trouble, and I’m flying less and less..
