Flight Timer on Skylark Trace OSD V4.0

I have installed a Skylark Trace OSD V4.0 in my Phantom and it works ok (needs some calibration), however the flight timer on the bottom right does not change from 0:00 during flight , has anybody got this working on their install, if so how?

I have just found this buried in a Skylark document

The flying time is accumulated from the first take-off. When there are 4 or more GPS satellites and the speed exceeds 5m/s
the first time, it starts counting.

Obviously this isn't perfect for Quad flying as I often hover after take off, guess I need to change the my default behaviour
