Flight Simulator HOT camera

I noticed that the camera gets HOT, when the Phantom is just sitting on a table,( like when you are doing a firmware upgrade ). If I fool around with the flight sim for an extended period of time, will I do any damage to the camera, as I'm sure that it will get quite hot.
I know that heat is an enemy for electronics.

point a fan at it. it's meant to be flown, and the props help cool it.

I use a small electric fan on mine when it is inside doing things like firmware updates.
