What kind of flight log do you use?
Is there an app you like or just a hard copy book?

I created a log in a spiral ring binder. Made (4) sections with dividers and labeled them:
1. Flight: With columns for Date, Flt #, Location, Purpose, Conditions, Start/Stop Time, Duration, Battery #, Notes
2. Firmware & Calibration: With columns for Date, Device, Action Performed
3. Maintenance: With columns for Date, Device, Action Performed
4. Batteries: With columns for Date, Battery #, Flight #, Action Performed, (flew, charged, etc)
I prefer a written log to an app. If they want/need to, the FAA can subpoena your records and that would involve losing your electronic device, if they were stored on that.

Awesome.
Good idea
My pleasure. Make sure to make entries in ink, not pencil. If you make an error, just line through it in ink,(leave the line legible), put your initials at the start or end of that line, and begin again on the next line. All of those simple steps establish bullet proof credibility, if push comes to shove.
