OK, this is one of "those" threads - bought a used, crashed P3Advanced off eBay (I know, I know).
At start-up, I get the usual red-yellow-green sequence X 2; then rapid yellow blinking; then it just keeps flashing long green, short red, and two beeps (Dit-Dit) over and over.
Also, I cannot get the compass to calibrate - I just always get the "strong magnetic field" error message.
I have done the following:
Tried hooking up a different GPS unit
Tried calibrating out in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere
Bought new DJI landing gear with a new compass module on the leg, and installed that.
"DeGaussed" the compass on the leg.
Did an IMU calibration (actually, this was the first thing I did).
No luck with any of the above..
Any ideas?
Is there anything like the Phantom Assistant software for the P3?
BTW: Good video feed, gimbal wants to turn to one side or the other, but the camera and all gimbal motors work. Binds to the remote controller like a charm.
