Fisheye removal

Hello folks,
i finally got the phantom 2 vision + and over all am very happy with it.

However, Does anyone know of a app I can use on my ipad to remove fisheye from the pics and video?

i currently have pinnacle studio and photoshop express, but don't see a option for removing fisheye.

Please help me with the best way to remove the fisheye effect using my ipad. If it's possible.

I don't know a solution for the software you use but if you ever decide to use Adobe's Creative Cloud Monthly Subscription you can use the GoPro lens profile correction and it will fix the fisheye. Check out this video on how to do it. It's really an amazing lens correction.

Have you considered changing your lens mode to narrow? This really cuts out the fisheye look.

Or is this something that will have to be done on a desktop/laptop?

No, I haven't changed to narrow. How do you change it to narrow? Where in settings is that?

It is in the app. Where you select your resolution, there is also a column where you can select wide or narrow.

I find the narrow setting generally better for video and no correction needed at all.
Still photos are not changed by this though, and a minor niggle is that your viewfinder image remains 'narrow' - but stills you take have far more in frame. So narrow setting is unhelpful for well framed stills.

There is now an app for iPad to remove the fisheye of GoPro videos. It's called ReVu video editor. ReVu for iOS

It's not fixing photo but therer are several apps that can, no idea for iPad but definitely for iPhone like Gofix and Lens corrector for GoPro.

There's a setting in the App camera settings that lets you narrow the field of view. I'm not hooked up to my phantom right now so I can't send you a screenshot but that's how I removed most of the fisheye. I found it also gives me a better perspective of where I am flying in FPV.
