First week with the Phantom and a GoPro

I have been flying all of about 2 weeks and got my FPV set up this last Saturday. I have a couple videos up mostly just as my own "proof of concept" as to the enormous potential of these "toys".

Nicely done. I too have just started flying and enjoyed watching your videos. I feel like this is a stupid question but on the last video you have the fpv video embedded in the GoPro video. Is that something you added in post or is that something that actually got saved on the GoPro SD card?

It was done post, I have a little 12v DVR that I hook up to the output on the Boscam receiver/monitor and it records what I see in the monitor.

Yep, already placed an order at fpvlr, but until I get them I will stay within 300 meters.

having that 12v DVR is good in case there is a crash. can be accessed as a backup to pin point location of the craft. i am getting one of these for my blackpearl :shock:
