I've been trying to decide whether or not my Hero 3+ Black has the soft focus issue. I filmed this in 1080P SuperWide, 60 fps. I'm not at all happy with the quality of the video I'm getting. Any opinions?

Looks fine to me for the mode you are in. With SuperWide and Wide you will get that were the horizon lines seem to curve when you tilt the camera. Took several flights for me to figure that out. Try Narrow and you won't have the issue at all. Also, 60fps doesn't let as much light in as 30fps so it doesn't work well for low light situations and even in normal light it will look dimmer than at 30fps.

Here is a good video about shooting with the GoPro. Helped me out since I didn't know much when I started.

Hard to tell with that embedded video. What you need to do is take a video with something in the foreground close up and then far away. I noticed in one of my videos that my boots up close were super focused before takeoff and then the the house I was filming was not. I contacted gopro and sent them a link to the video and they agreed. He told me to update the firmware and see what happens. I just did that, but have had crappy weather since so haven't had a chance to see if that worked.
