Just got my first fly away yesterday and it was scary has hell. Did a calibration, waited for sat, check everything and I lifted my P2V+. While I was going up, the light started flashing yellow, I didn't have time to bring it down before the wind got it drifting. I lost the FPV for 5 sec then it came back, my P2V+ was hovering without (the sat probably kit in) then I receive the RTH message on the app, that's when I lost the connection.
I was in a heavy forest area, we've look 45 mins and finally got back a signal, I was able to connect to it and using camera I was able to find it hanging in a tree at about 25 feet of the ground. Took it down and tested everything, it's all working fine...
This was probably the longest 45mins in my life :roll:
I think when the sat finally came back and the RTH was triggered my P2V+ just tried to land and that's why is was in a tree. Luckily, gimbal/camera/P2V+ didn't have any damage except for props and props guards.
