Did my first mission with the Litchi yesterday, I planned the flight using the litchi Hub on line, it was 2 miles long.
I flew from a local park to the location , I lost signal about 1.5 miles away because of some very tall trees. I had read up on a lot of Litchi flights and was expecting this from the location I took off from so no dramas.
After a tense 10 mins wait I saw the bird coming home, it was easy coming home as the wind was behind the bird so made it lighter on the battery, the wind was strong at 200 feet up as when I watched the video of the flight the bird was buffeted about a bit.
All I can say is what a great app the Litchi app is I will be using this all the time from now on, as a waypoint mission is so easier to get great video of your subject.
