First flight- 12 mile island- Ohio river

Took it up for a brief hover or two before this to get acclimated and make sure all settings were correct. This was my first real flight.

Many thanks to everyone for the newbie tips... couldn't have confidently done it without this forum.

I tried...

I definitely want some filters.

This was with me holding the remote and using just my thumbs on top of each stick. I'm experimenting with using the 'claw' two finger grip to get a little more fluent motion while the RC is on a surface.

Brave pilot to be over the water like this on a first flight. Good job. I agree with 'alok' about the filters. Type 'ND filters' into the forum search and you'll find a bunch of info on what people are using and where to get them
