Firmware update...

Evening all...

Please excuse the newbie question. I've looked back over the forum but not found a definitive answer. I recently acquired a P3 pro from my employers as I'm the only employee with ANY drone experience. The phantom I've inherited is asking for a firmware update and while I know how to do the update I'm hesitant as I've heard there can be issues and bugs with updates.
Is there a recommended firmware version that is trouble free?

Thanks.... I've done 8 flights over 2 days with no problems, got some great beginner video.

Sorry, just trying to figure out what difference it makes what operating system the user's device is using, when the question is about the Phantom's firmware.

My mistake, firmware is same for both op system. I'm having a bad day lol.
