P3 Firmware Firmware Brikced P3P

I tired to upgrade my P3P to 1.05 loaded on SD and booted up. Started normal and them solid steady beep and update failed. Log says

Packet: P3X_FW_V01.05.0030.bin
Result: Failed.
Reboot the aircraft and try to upgrade the firmware again.

Cant install the old version either. I I take the bin file off the SD the P3P boots up and everything seems to work but there is NO CAMERA IMAGE

Tired a down grade to the 2 eairleir versions and no luck. I see on here that the 2 devices not detected are the camera so now I get to see how crappy their customer service is. It appears that the camera has failed in a unit with only 5 hours of flight time on it. Should be interesting to see how bad their service acatually is. I have the Square Trade Insurance so perhaps its faster to just call Square Trade and ask for a brand new unit. I will keep you posted.

Sounds like what happened to me.
 
As suspected no reply from DJI. I did contact B&H and the insurance I took out (Square Trade) and B&H was fantastic. They confirmed that this error is an internal error. It can be fixed only by opening up the P3P and disconnecting and reconnecting the cable (which is glued) and then once reconnected you can then run the firmware upgrade. I laughed and said, I am not opening anything, its underwarranty and I would like it replaced. B&H and the insurance company are trying to contact DJI. I told them (Good Luck). They stated that if they cant reach them they will repair or replace it.
Its ahsamed that DJI does not have any serious competition becuase their customer service is horrific. I love their drone but my god their customer service needs a serious overhaul. I also confimred that Square Trade does still cover the P3P in the event of pilot error. Amazing as that sounds, if you crash and it was not "intentional" you are covered. Any one interested in buying this should but it from B&H and take out the insurance, its a no brainer if you ask me. More updates later.
