Just gone from 1.1.9 to 1.4, all went well, did all the calibrations and went for a test flight. Went from 100% to 45% on battery just flying all over a field, went about 500 meters out at a good height, not a single drop out on FPV, flys bang straight in a line. Touch wood I don't think I have any of the problems other pilots have with the 1.4 firmware. Also took some pictures and video in 2.7k just to see if it's any better than 1080@60. Same clip took with both settings and the 1080 is a very smooth. The 2.7@30 is very slightly stuttering.
