Finding the best fpv glasses/goggles

@bobmyers thank you for the detailed info on the Sony goggles! I assume you are using them with the P3 HDMI add-on pack? I am a new user - does that HDMI pack allow you to see the flight telemetry (alt, speed, heading, batt life, etc.)? Or would you need a second person looking at the Go app's display?

Yes you do need the hdmi mod to use these goggles. You see the telemetry but not the same screen as what is available through your main device unfortunately.

They do really nice in the sun, very little light leakage. The rubber inserts around the goggles are removable.

Thanks I have the head plays on order and was going to buy the new fatshark sounds like I should just buy the sony and have them here in a few days

After owning the HDs and then seeing the quality of these there is no way I'm going back. Sony has a new product coming out next year called 'project morpheus', just might have to get those too next year. http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2015/03/03/gdc-2015-project-morpheus-update/

I had them and returned them. They didn't fit my head very well and the picture is pretty small. Kinda like sitting in a dark room watching a small tv. If you want something inexpensive and small/compact then these are a good choice for the money.

I have the HMZ-T1 that I bought and never used. Would these work well ? Dont own a phantom now but a qav250
