p2+ v3 wow what fun. been studying for a month while it sat on the table staring at me.
Finally buzzed around out on the frozen lake and practiced turns ,loops ,squares and took her Waaaaay up to 100 ft.
Gotta paint them front prop guards and fashion some better landing gear i think but WOW! what fun.
Thanks for all the info found here.

Sounds good. At least flying over a frozen lake it will not get wet. Enjoy winter in Min-a-snow-ta. :)
Welcome and enjoy.

It's a great hobby, things like work will get in the way too often!

You'd be surprised how many noobs don't do that and pay the ultimate price as they watch their expensive toy crash or fly away.

I didnt do anything the first 2 weeks I owned my Vision+ except start up the motors and look at the LEDs, and then read the manual about 10 times and watched a bunch of tutorials on YouTube. Then I carefully installed the Stage 4 antenna kit from FPVLR and also a Flytrex Live. My first flight was just as planned. Excellent preparation mitigates bad things from happening. ;)

Welcome flybynight.
