Filming around a moving subject

There's a replica Spanish Ship in town here in Panama City that's heads back out to sea this weekend and I would like to film its departure in Orbit mode. How do I set the ship as point of interest so that when it moves, the P3A will follow it in orbit mode. Using Litchi or DJI Go.

Unless you can get somebody on that ship to run a paired Litchi Magic Leash app on their phone, then you are probably going to have to fly it with two sticks. I don't know if Vertical Studio (beta) can do this kind of thing yet or not.

Oh if it was a P4.... but P3A wont orbit a moving object automatically if it was stationary again not a problem, you will have to stick fly this...

Use Vertical Studio to focus the camera on the ship while you fly around it.

I also think you will get better footage by flying around it yourself. A large object like that will be easily tracked by Vertical, while you do the flying.

Vertical can also orbit. Perhaps try that before the big day.
