I know the question comes up all the time here. What's a good GPS location device? Well I saw one of these the other day and noticed the band was removable and basically the whole small time piece would come out and it was very small. Four small allen screws held in the face.
Just curious has anyone here tried it? It looks promising.

Were I live in up state ny that would be many of the places I would want to fly. I even was about to get a flytrex live. till I seen the coverage map for the T mobile that it uses and even less coverage then AT&T This part of the country I'm in is just dominate by Verizon

There are cheaper GPS options. I got this one for $23
http://www.amazon.com/Real-Time-Portabl ... B001FYQO3W

Then I bought a H20 wireless SIM card for 1 penny on Amazon. Then I got the $10 for 90 days plan
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005LI78YM

It works for me but I have not used it much yet. It gets me within 25 feet of the GPS from the response text with link that I can open in google maps. I think a lot of people here are using a similar tracker from other threads I read.

Does the intsun Real Time Portable Mini GMS/GPS/GPRS Tracker one rely on gsm sim card?

That is good to know I bought something similar but could never get it to work. I thought it had to be activated by the people that sold it and gave up. Here is what I have.

That Amazon unit looks like the TK trackers, no?

Who is the $10/3-month plan through? AT&T? H2O?

The $10 for 3 months is H20 wireless. You get the SIM for a penny at Amazon then activate on the H20 wireless site. It's super easy.
Keep in mind that if you send many texts it will drain the $10. I think it may be 5 cents a text. With no contract I don't care I'll add more money if needed but probably only renew $10 every 3 months.
It runs on AT&T network I think.

It is one ok the TK models. It came with 2 batteries, charger, a CD I never used and some instructions. Not perfect English but enough to understand. It took me a few minutes to activate at H20 then test my device. I had no issues so far

After a couple of failed attempts with other brands I ordered this one, thanks for the link. Now for the long wait for China shipping.

Well I hope it works well for you as it does so far for me. I really didn't want to spend $100+ for a few of the more expensive options just for a tracker. Shipping took about 2 weeks I think for me in Arizona

I had the same issue (extended delivery time, Sept 1?!) when I ordered mine the other day. You just need to select a different seller. I cancelled the transaction with Newerstone and ordered from Vegaswind. No price difference.
