feiyu tech g3 gimbal control

I have a p2 with feiyu tech g3 gimbal installed. Had a few brushes with trees and mother earth and the gimbal started acting crazy so I went to there website did the upgades and now I can only tilt fully up or down. The only way to stop it in the center is while its moving to full up or down position is move the slide lever in the opposite direction untill it stops but if the p2 tilts up or down while flying the gimbal goes to full up or straight down by itself. I have recalibrated the controller several times what am I doing wrong? I have even replaced the whole unit with a new one and still same results. Thanks for any suggestions.
