In regards to the POT adjustment knob found in the back of the Transmitter/Remote Control below the CH7 Pot.

My Phantom Assistance says its in FCC mode.
The transmitter beeps twice so I assume that's in FCC.
I don't usually fly out of site so I have never tested range. My POI has always been near.
I had a control signal lost when I hit 300meters and this was happening a few times. It was still in LOS but I couldn't see it.
I turned the POT knob max to the right and managed 600m flight without losing transmitter connection. Mind you this was at a different location. Is there a chance that the POT knob changes transmitter power? Its just weird that they should of made a 2 position switch to for CE/FCC instead of wasting a pot knob.
I know the manual says that it changes it from CE(200-300m) - FCC(500-700m). And I know that the software overrides this. What if the controller has always beeped twice when powering on and CE and FCC mode was simply adjusting the power output.
I would like to see if others have experienced the same.
I will go back redo a controlled test and adjust the POT knob on the fly.
