FC40 Videos (Sticky?)

The camera suffers horribly when positioned normally (i.e. straight out) because any light entering the lens from above or sides will create a glare inside the lens. This washes out the image and reduces sharpness. DJI could have avoided this by including a lens hood or polarizing filter, but this is just a glorified webcam, and webcams aren't usually used outdoors.

If you create a hood for your camera out of stiff black construction paper that stick out about 1" around the top and sides, you'll cut down on most of the glare and get a much more vibrant and sharper image. Or you can do what I did and angle the camera down at a 45 degree angle, but you won't get much, if any sky :(

I'll be making a lens hood for my camera next weekend.
