So I just received my Dominator FPV glasses and was wondering if someone could point out if I am missing something. Unfortunately its raining so all I could do was to start up inside and look through them. Unless there is something I am missing I must admit I am thoroughly unimpressed. It didnt look much better than if i cup my hands around a tablet and pretend Im in the Phantom. For some reason I was expecting immersive, hopefully once I get outside they will be better but at this point I moved the Phantom around and it looks less immersive than the Samsung VR that uses a phone. Mainly because you still are looking at a rectangular screen in the Dominators, but in the Gear VR or VR One it appears more like you are looking through your eyes at the world, not at a screen that has a picture of the world. Am I missing something here or did I set my expectations too high?

Nope your last line says it all. A lot of money for a product this is just OK. Won't invest anymore with FS quality is not there for me.
Gotta admit I was really surprised when I first looked through them. I may have to settle for wearing a bucket on my head with those headplays. Did you get a different set from the FS? Aside from the size the reviews seem to extol the virtues of those far more often than the FS. I'm glad I didn't get the HDMI series, for over $500 I may have called the cops.
I don't have a Samsung Phone I have a G3. The guy at best buy told me I can't use them. Do you know if it is just the size of the phone or is there technical reasons?
I'm not sure what the difference is. I have a buddy who has a Samsung Note 4, and the VR set for it is $200. I have a Note 6s Edge Plus, and the VR for mine was $99. The two VR units look the same, but are not interchangeable. I'm hoping that some universal VR will be released eventually that will fit numerous phones.
Is there a Note Edge 6? I only ask because it's upgrade time for my phone and TMobile does not have the greatest selection, only the Note 5. I would love a Note with those awesome curved edges!
Yes there is a Samsung s6 Edge and an s6 Edge Plus (the larger size). I'm confused by all of the Samsung line up names - seems like a new one is released every quarter. Those sexy curved edges are cool, but I often wonder if I'd have liked the Note 5 better. I had a Note 3 and used the stylus often to take notes, the Edge series do not have a stylus or the ability to uses notes.
Got ya, I had the same and really liked the stylus too. That Edge though, wow what a picture on that screen, best I've seen, even better than the IPhone IMO.
Well I'm in Concord, CA and it's nice now so I'm going to at least give them a shot outside

Plus i am undoubtedly keeping them as i now feel it is by far the best way to watch porn.
